How about those Lady Buffaloes! It's been 21 years since the Garden City High School girls have been to state, so that's quite an accomplishment.

They may have their hands full with Washburn-Rural in the first round on Thursday, but you know, they have nothing to lose. They just need to go out there and leave it all on the floor.

No matter what happens Thursday, it's been a great season for the Lady Buffaloes. What a huge step for the program.

Sounds like the Lady Buffs hung in there with a very good Washburn Rural team. Despite the loss, it was a great accomplishment for them to get to state. This Lady Buffs team has raised the bar for future teams, and that's the most exciting thing.
