When I was little I remember going to the store with my parents to pick out the perfect Christmas tree.
To some, every Christmas tree at the store looked the same. They were all bundled up, waiting for the right owner.
But the trained you looks for height, how full the tree is, and whether the pine needles are in tact and are green (and not brown).
How many people buy a real Christmas tree, or do people do that anymore? Do you know someone who goes out to a tree farm and chops one down?
I'm looking for some fine folks to talk with about Christmas trees for a story for Saturday's Telegram. If you use a fake tree, why? Is it less expensive, less hassle, more convenient?
If you'd like to talk Christmas trees to me, drop me a line and let me know.
Thanks!
