New HP dv-2270us Notebook

A few weeks ago, I bought a brand new HP entertainment notebook (dv7 series) and thus far I'm really pleased with it.  They call it a desktop replacement, and I'll second that statement.  It has a lot of great features and it truly does replace my older Dell desktop.  It came loaded with Win7 and I have to say that it is an improvement over the Vista operating system.  Prior to this, I was a Dell man, thinking that I'd always stay with that brand.  But the HP has proven itself to be reliable and full of features that I really like and find useful.  It has an Intel Quad Core processor with Radeon graphics, 500GB hard drive, 4 GB memory and great wireless capability.

Anyone else have a similar model Dell XPS or HP dv series (or other brand)?   If you're shopping for a new laptop, I highly recommend the dv-2270us.

@Lou - I've always been a fan of HP laptops. I'm on my second one now, a G70 I bought about a year ago. Nice 17" screen, dual core CPU, 320 gig HD. Certainly suited my needs but my next machine will be one of the dv series from HP. I just didn't have the bankroll to get one last year.

I still like Dell for desktop systems, but HP has my heart for laptops. BTW - my laptop also replaced my desktop system.
