Friends of Scott Lake State Park

In 2009 a group of individuals interested in the successful future of Scott Lake State Park formed this Friends Group to help in the development of improvements to assist in the parks growth and success.

We are a gathering of people who work together to support the park in many ways. By volunteering time, skills and equipment in various work projects and fundraising for the betterment of Scott Lake State Park. Members come from all walks of life and this diversity helps the group fulfill its mission.

Members can be as active as their schedules permits. Except for the annual membership dues (@ this time $15 per member) there are no requirements. Each individual can contribute mentally, physically and/or financially as their situation will allow.

Our meeting are on the first (1st) Wednesday of the month @ 6:30pm and we meet at the Beach House.
